In other words, our President can now at any time assume the powers of Martial Law.

Sword Rattling for War (1) Sanctions (just like pre-Iraq) on Iran are ramping up the hate and fear of America and preparing the American people for war. Update: this has caused hyperinflation in Iran; the people who suffer most are the poor. Also, this contributes to rising oil prices, which harms the poor in America. (2) Cyber Attacks. White House ordered creation and dissemination of computer viruses to attack Iranian nuclear research facilities. Stuxnet is one example.

Quotes below are from the first link below: "infrastructure includes wireline, wireless, satellite, cable, and broadcasting, and provides the transport networks that support the Internet and other key information systems," suggesting that the president has indeed effectively just allowed himself to control the country's Internet access ... authorizes the DHS "the authority to seize private facilities when necessary, effectively shutting down or limiting civilian communications." Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST)
Re-introduced by Obama in 5/2012 - Subordinates U.S. naval and drilling operations beyond 200 miles of our coast to a newly established U.N. bureaucracy. If approved, it will grant a Kingston, Jamaica-based International Seabed Authority (ISA) the power to regulate deep-sea oil exploration, seabed mining, and fishing rights. As part of the deal, as much as 7% of U.S. government revenue that is collected from oil and gas companies operating off our coast will be paid to ISA for redistribution to poorer, landlocked countries. This apparently is in penance for America's audacity in perpetuating prosperity yielded by our Industrial Revolution. [more info]

Goldman Sachs, Monsanto & Other Notable Corporate Crony Appointments
January 2009 - Obama swears in Timothy Geithner as U.S. Secretary of the Treasury. Tim Geithner was President of the New York Federal Reserve Bank 2003 to 2008.
(1) Geithner engineered the AIG bailout, which cost more than it would take to buy everyone in the United States a $300,000 home.
(2) $185 billion was secretly paid to Goldman Sachs while Geithner was President of the NY Fed. It got out that Geithner told lawyers to hide that money ($185 billion) was being paid to Goldman Sachs. Geithner did not go to jail. February 2009 - Obama appointed Jeffrey Immelt, CEO of General Electric, as member of President's Economic Recovery Advisory Board. Immelt retained his position as CEO of G.E. GE paid no taxes in 2010. April 2009 - Obama appoints 5 RIAA lawyers to the Justice Department.
